Rose and oud have been paired in Indian and Middle Eastern attars for centuries, and Attardaan, named for the attardaan that once held a king's attars, hand-blends Gulaab Oudh in India to carry that pairing into a slow, continuous format. The Rig Veda's Śrī Sūkta calls the goddess Lakshmi Ji Gandhadvārām, "she whose gateway is fragrance" — and few combinations have proven, over generations, as reliably welcoming as rose and oud together, however long they're given to work.

An attardaan is a real object. Long before it was our name, it was the small ornate box a household kept its perfume in — brought out for weddings, for guests, for the days worth marking. The word says exactly what it is: attar, the fragrance; daan, the holder.
We call the people who wear our scents Attardaans because the name has quietly changed hands. A bottle keeps a fragrance for a while. You give it warmth, a pulse, and somewhere to go. Worn, a scent stops being something you own and becomes something you carry.

Wear time varies with skin type, climate and how much you apply — for the best results, apply to pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears) on slightly moisturised skin right after a shower.
An attar is a traditional Indian fragrance oil, made the old way and typically alcohol-free, so it's applied directly to the skin and blooms slowly. A perfume (eau de parfum) usually uses an alcohol base, which makes the scent lift faster but fade sooner.
