Kaala Oudh means black oud, and this room freshener spray is Attardaan's darkest, most dramatic oud — deeper and smokier than Arabi Oudh or Shahi Oudh, with a resinous intensity that reads as genuinely moody rather than simply rich. An attardaan is a real object. Long before it was our name, it was the small ornate box a household kept its perfume in — brought out for weddings, for guests, for the days worth marking. The word says exactly what it is: attar, the fragrance; daan, the holder.
